I had the most wonderful stay at a charming hotel in Tangier, full of English architecture and European vibes. The Dar el Kasbah provided a perfect base for exploring the city, with its prime location beside the vibrant medina and bustling souk. The hotel itself had a delightful Moroccan touch, but the cozy cafe downstairs had a distinctly Spanish/European atmosphere. I enjoyed some of the best tapas ever and relished in the beauty of the English-style building, with its wooden floors and grand staircase. The panoramic views from the top were breathtaking. It was the ideal end to my incredible Moroccan adventure! I highly recommend this hotel for its unique blend of English architecture, European ambiance, and Moroccan hospitality.

We received complementary drinks on arrival which was a nice touch. the hotel is situated close to the main attractions and shops, making it ideal for exploring the city. the room was also equipped with a mini fridge which was useful for keeping water bottles cool.
The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, making us feel unwelcome. the breakfast was below average, consisting of very limited options and poor quality products.

The hotel had a great location, being just steps away from the castle and close to the market. Excellent restaurants could also be found nearby. it had a beautiful view from the rooms overlooking the old town walls. the room itself was spacious with clean sheets and comfortable beds. the breakfast was tasty and filling. the friendly staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and the courtyard was a beautiful place to relax and unwind.
The hotel lacked an elevator, which could be problematic with mobility issues.

Great stay for New Year festivities! Fantastic atmosphere and friendly staff who were always open to our requests. The location was ideal, right in the heart of the action, and the room was clean and comfortable. Plus, the breakfast spread was impressive and kept us satisfied until late afternoon.
The noise from the streets at night was a bit too much to handle, but we were prepared for it and managed to get some good sleep anyway. the bathroom being only separated with a curtain may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it didn't bother us too much.
